Our alumni continue to make real impacts in the business world. Here are the latest three making the right kind of ESG waves.
Shailesh Haribhakti, GCB.D, Chairman of Shailesh Haribhakti and Associates is also one of our faculty members and serves on our advisory board. Many congratulations to Shailesh this month for joining the Governance Board of the Institute Of Risk Management, India Affiliate (IRM India Affiliate) as Senior External Advisor.
Shailesh is a qualified chartered and cost accountant, certified internal auditor, financial planner and Fraud Examiner, and also serves as Board Chairman, Audit Committee Chairperson and Independent Director for various companies. We offer a tremendous hat tip to Shailesh for making such a positive difference throughout his three-decade-long career and look forward to his journey ahead!
Kudos, too, to Henning Stein, PhD, GCB.D, for becoming an Executive Board Member for Sentience – Politik für Tiere, an organization that strives to protect animals through protective policies. Along with his involvement in animal protection, Henning is also passionate about shifting towards a more sustainable global food system, recently addressing the CFA Society UK around a transition that will positively affect billions of lives around the world. Henning is certainly contributing to build a better future for generations to come.
And finally, a big CB-sized shout out to Amee Sandhu. After being an entrepreneur for years, Amee is taking on her new role as Senior Legal Counsel at Alstom, a global leader in sustainable mobility. She has spent 17 years working for major engineering and construction companies, with roles in legal, ethics and compliance. Amee is “extremely excited to continue contributing to building Ontario’s rail transportation capacity for the benefit of generations to come”, and we are excited for her!
