Biography
Dianora Aria De Marco,
Fellow at the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)
Dianora Aria De Marco is a Fellow at the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) where she works on both Climate-related Financial Disclosures (IFRS S2) and General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information (IFRS S1). She also engages with stakeholders globally to support educational efforts related to understanding the requirements of these new Standards.
Prior to joining the ISSB, Dianora was as Senior Manager at Ernst & Young in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice, based in New York City. At EY, Dianora helped clients on a wide range of financial and sustainability reporting topics. Most recently, she has helped some of the largest companies in the world refresh their ESG strategy, ESG governance structures, and processes and controls for ESG-related metrics. She previously held roles at Financial Executives International (FEI) and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). In both roles she closely monitored the activities of the FASB and US SEC.
Dianora is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and serves as a Board Member on the State University of New York – Oswego Foundation.
