Biography
Trisha Taneja,
Global Head ESG Capital Markets & Advisory, Deutsche Bank
Trisha works at Deutsche Bank, where she heads the ESG Advisory & Sustainable Finance team at the Investment Bank. The team works across the Investment Bank’s Origination & Advisory unit. She comes to Deutsche Bank with considerable experience in green bonds, ESG ratings, product management, and new business development. Trisha is a recognized expert on green and social bonds, sustainable lending, ESG risk in fixed-income, thematic impact products, and carbon. She speaks regularly on these topics.
Previously, Trisha worked at Sustainalytics, where she headed globally the award-winning Green and Social Bond product. She was also responsible for growing Sustainalytics’ suite of issuer facing ESG products. During her almost 5 year tenure at Sustainalytics, Trisha helped build the company into the largest global external review provider. She oversaw strategic expansion of the service into the Asia-Pacific region, and more than doubled global product revenues for 3 consecutive years.
Prior to Sustainalytics, Trisha has held product, program, and team management roles in the private and non-profit sectors in the areas of quantitative analysis, global health, micro-finance, and impact evaluation. She has 10+ years experience working in 3 languages, and has lived and worked in 8 countries- Canada, India, New Zealand, Oman, UAE, UK, USA and Zambia.
She is an alumna of the Fletcher School at Tufts University, University of British Columbia, and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.
