Ibec, the group that represents Irish business, has announced the launch of its international Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) certification programme designed for board directors and senior business professionals. The programme reflects the growing understanding amongst business that having a clear ESG strategy in place is mission critical for the long-term success of an organisation and its growth.
The ESG Competent Boards™ Certificate and Designation (GCB.D) programme is delivered in Europe by Ibec Academy Global, in partnership with Competent Boards, the original and world-leading provider of online environment, social, governance (ESG) and climate education programmes. This International programme is made up of over 150 of the worlds, C-suite executives, investors and other experts make up the faculty who deliver the programmes, which means the quality of the learning is central to our partnership and the value of this programme.

The 12-week programme allows access to carefully curated reading lists, original case studies and thought-provoking questions to help you create value, enhance resilience, and establish good governance. On completion participants receive the Global ESG Competent Boards Certificate and Designation (GCB.D).
